Fall 2011 Apple Butter

White Hall Ruritans did our 3rd annual apple butter cooking today, from before dawn to dusk at the Community Center. This year we combined apple butter sales with a bake sale and clear-out-your-pantry sale.

We cooked one kettle of traditional apple butter with sugar, and another of unsweetened (but naturally sweet). After canning and labelling it will be available for sale during the fall and through next year. For inquiries about purchasing, contact club president Kathy Rash at 823-1886.
