- Apple butter making and sales at the White Hall Community Center (across from Wyant’s
Store) – all day
- White Hall Community Picnic at the old Horse Show Grounds, Sugar Hollow Road
(½ mile
west of Piedmont Store), 3–6 p.m. Featuring:
- Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and snacks for sale, or bring your own picnic
- White Hall area history: photos and lore with local historians Phil and Sally
James
- Pony rides for children provided by Kate Bishop
- Live musical entertainment
- Sugar Hollow Reservoir – spectacular fall colors (area open until sunset)
- White Hall Vineyards – wines for tasting and sale, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sugar Ridge
Road)

NOTE: The first bridge over Moormans River on Sugar Hollow Road, 2 miles west of White Hall, is closing for repair on 19 October through 20 November. To access the Reservoir and venues on Sugar Ridge road, use Break Heart / Sugar Ridge Road. You'll still be able to reach the Community Picnic site on Sugar Ridge Road from 810 as it is east of the bridge closure.
